My Reading Tutors is approved through the Oregon Department of Education (ODE) to administer homeschool testing. Under Oregon Law (ORS 330.035), all students who are homeschooled are required to test at the end of grades 3, 5, 8, and 10, with two exceptions:
- Students participating in interscholastic activities are required to test annually
- Students with disabilities, and an IEP or a PDP that indicates methods other than testing should be used to indicate satisfactory progress

Developed by John Holland, the Self-Directed Search (SDS) is a renowned career assessment tool designed to guide individuals in uncovering suitable career paths. Rooted in Holland's theory of vocational personalities and environments, the SDS evaluates students' interests, aptitudes, and preferences across various occupational domains. Through self-reflection and analysis, students are steered towards potential career options that resonate with their unique personality types, fostering informed decision-making and boosting career satisfaction.
Accessible online from the comfort of students' homes using personal devices, the SDS offers a convenient way to explore career possibilities. Upon completion, students receive comprehensive reports detailing their vocational interests and potential career paths.
